KYN28-12 Metal-clad Removable AC Metal-enclosed switchgear is suit for 3.6-12kV three-phase AC power grid, controlling, monitoring and protecting electric circuit by receiving and distributing electrical power. It can used for single-bus configuration system, sectionalized configuration system and double bus scheme system. It meets the standards of IEC298, IEC694, GB3906-2006 and DIN.VDE0670. It has anti-misoperation function.
The shell of this products is assembled by bolts with highly mechanical strength to effectively ensure the neatness and beauty of the product. The cabinet door is spray-coated, with strong impact resistance and corrosion resistance. The ingress protection of shell is IP4X. (It can be made of metal according to customer’s requirements).
This switchgear can equipped with VD4 vacuum circuit breaker and C3 load switch made by ABB or other series vacuum circuit breaker (such as VS1, VH1, VK, ZN28).
No matter what kind of circuit breaker is selected, the air insulation distance of the bare conductor can be guaranteed to be greater than 125mm, and the composite insulation distance can be greater than 60mm. The circuit breakers have the unique advantages of long life, less maintenance and small size.

Switchgear Structure Feature:
The switchgear is designed according to the armored metal-enclosed switchgear in GB3906-91. The switchgear is composed of two parts: the fixed cabinet and the extractable parts (referred to as the handcart). The shell of the cabinet and the partitions of each functional unit are connected by bolts. The protection grade of the switch cabinet shell is IP4X, and the protection grade of the circuit breaker compartment door is IP2X when it is opened. The switchgear can be equipped with a vacuum circuit breaker handcart or a fixed load switch. It has overhead incoming (outgoing) lines, cable outgoing lines and other functional solutions. The switchgear can be installed in a double cabinet arrangement, that is, installed in a back-to-back or face-to-face double-row arrangement.

Transport the switch cabinets to a specific location according to the project requirements and drawings. If there are a long row of switch cabinets (such as more than 10 units), the cabinet consolidation work should start from the middle part.
It is strictly forbidden to use roller crowbars with specific transportation tools such as cranes or forklifts.
Pull out the handcart of the circuit breaker from the switch cabinet and put it elsewhere for safekeeping.
Loosen the fixing bolts in front of the busbar compartment and remove the vertical partition 9.
Loosen the fixing bolts of the horizontal partition 19 under the circuit breaker compartment, and remove the horizontal partition.
Loosen and remove base plate 16.
Remove the cover plate from the control wire slot on the left side of the switch cabinet 1, 2. Remove the cover plate from the right front control wire slot at the same time.
Install the switch cabinets one by one on the foundation, including both horizontal and vertical aspects, and the installation unevenness of the switch cabinets shall not exceed 2mm.
After the switchgear is completely combined (spliced), it can be connected with the foundation channel steel with anchor screws or welded firmly with the foundation channel steel by electric welding.
